About STAY
STAY is Kerteminde Municipality’s local accommodation platform, connecting visitors with private hosts and local businesses across the area.
The platform is initiated by ETKerteminde in connection with the Danish Golf Championship / DP World Tour, which takes place at Great Northern in Kerteminde 13–16 August 2026 and attracts more than 80,000 guests to the area.
The event has sparked a unique opportunity to open private homes across the municipality to visitors who prefer to stay local rather than in hotels.
Through STAY, guests can discover local places to stay and send accommodation inquiries directly to hosts.
STAY acts solely as an intermediary that facilitates contact between guests and hosts. Any accommodation agreement and any payment related to a stay take place directly between the parties.
In addition to accommodation, STAY also gives local businesses visibility through profile listings, helping visitors discover restaurants, shops, attractions and experiences across Kerteminde Municipality.
STAY continues beyond the championship as a permanent local platform designed to strengthen tourism, support local hospitality, and showcase everything Kerteminde has to offer year-round.
